The jewels of Jerusalem
It’s a holy city for three of the world’s great religions — but the reason for my pilgrimage to Jerusalem was more of a family affair.
In this fascinating, iconic city packed with ancient monuments, bustling markets and thriving faiths, lies a little bit of personal history…and I was desperate to see it.
So while the faithful flocked to the cherished sites of Islam, Judaism and Christianity, I headed to the west side of this ancient metropolis, founded 5,000 years ago.
